Does anybody know where the alternator is located on a 98 ford contour se? Also is it easy to replace thanks!!?

I may purchase a 98 contour se that needs an alternator. I am wondering if I can just replace the voltage regulator. can anyone help? wheres the alternator located and is it easy to replace?
