Stuck in challenge of atlas-(god of wars)ps2.need help!?

Help please! I'm in the Challenge of Atlas, I've gotten the Hades Shield and need to retrieve Zues's but I can't get to the platform the spins quick enough, I pulled the box of stones into the room and kicked on the on and tried to run/jump to the platform but I just can't seem to get the before it turns all the way around...any suggestions??
