Is Hell a Spiritual or physical Place?

Hell is the Absence of God. The Bible describes it as being physical but how would our bodies last? Would you get a glorified body? Or is the Bible talking figurativly and it is a spiritual place? If it is Spiritual, was Jesus Christ in Hell on the Cross when He said "My God, My God, Why have you Forsaken Me?" Is God in Hell? If not does this prove that God is not Omnipresent?
