Wind turbines for electricity .. Yes or No .. Opinions.. Thank You..?

sure, where it makes sense, and in no more than about 7% of total power (actually wind, plus solar for maybe 7% - that is the limit the grid can tolerate for irregular supply). It seems that most places with a lot of turbines are over the local limit. They are rarely cost effective, require a lot of land, are usually not nearly as environmentally favorable as society thinks they are. They take an enormously lot more wire than any other power supply (think of the additional mining, smelting, tailings, air emissions, water pollution, and the land out of use to site them, ad nauseum)
