How can i get my lovebird to trust me?????????????

I know i put the same question that i put before but i need more answers and i have very little patience left.My lovebird is about 8 months old and it doesnt let me touch it and take it on my shoulder.Also i dont know what is its favourite treat.How can i gain its trust in order to let me take it on my finger?I need the whole process and i dont care about big answers.The most detailed process wins thebest answer by me but i need some answers coz i have my lovebird since it was 2 months old(6 months ago).
