Cartoon scenes where a ball gets hit and disappears into space?

Does anyone know where i can get a scene where like, in a baseball game, the pitcher throws the baseball to the "hitter" (i dont know what its called) and he hits the ball so hard that it goes into sky and disappears. and the place where the ball disappeared, has a sort of blinking star effect which sounds like *ting!* or some sort. and the ball never comes back. everyone watches in disbelief. i've been looking for this scene but i have not found any. can anyone suggest me a good scene like this? or maybe, if you can make it on your own with special video effects or something. does anyone know how to do it?
