Do creationists teach things to their children that they know are not true?

And don’t give me that Santa Claus crap; this is different. Creationism goes beyond religion, doesn’t it? A ‘normal’ level of religiosity would be to believe in things for which no evidence exists; creationism does this but it also rejects things for which there is evidence in order to maintain belief in concepts that can’t possibly be true. And most importantly, this is a conscious choice made by creationists; they are making a conscious choice to reject evidence and believe nonsense. Therefore, do creationists knowingly teach things to their children that they know are not true?
