they do not have to give you the same rate if you extend your stay. different nights have different rates. if you were quoted a rate for the additional days they would honor that but if no rate was quoted and no agreement set prior then they can charge you that days rate. as for being forced to allow you to stay beyond your reservation that is wrong. they don't have to allow you. maybe they are booked and some hotels have a maximum amount of nights they will let you stay in order to keep people from living there,.

How to make a suggestion to my husband?

My husband gets offended if I give him a suggestion about something. He takes it as I am being bossy and wanting it done my way. Two years ago, I had a mild case of hypothyroidism. My original weight was 112 and it jumped to 119 in three months. Even after medication, I went to the doctor for the third time and there my weight was still at 119. Three days later, I went to my primary care physician to get a physical examination done and my weight was 114. Both times, my weight was checked by a digital scale. Although my hypothyroidism is treated now (it was not extremely severe), I have recently been diagnosed with vitamin D deficiency. My weight has been approximately 3-5 pounds heavier since last year (back to 119) and it is not going down. I even started working out a lot more and lift weights and feel like I have lost abdominal weight and weight in my thighs. However, I still continue to remain the same weight as before. I know that I occasionally suffer from dehydration and that I when I get sick (which I have been for the past few days) , I have trouble drinking water, leaving me to drink merely 8 ounces per day. Could this be a reason why my weight shows up to be more than I think it really is?

3cm dilated 80% effaced for 5 days with bloody show and irregular contractions, how much longer ?

Hi on tuesday doc examined me and said I was 3cm 80% effaced, I was having irregular contractions that didn't hurt so was sent home to wait for strong contractions to start. I've tried walking, birth ball, nipple stimulation, castor oil, and all the rest, since then I've had a bloody show. Its now saturday and although my contractions aren't any more regular they're hurting a bit more. I just wanted to know how much longer this could possible go on because I'm so uncomfortable n soooo exhausted from no sleep n sick of hearing 'he'll come when he's ready'. I'm at my wits end! Clicking knee, inflamed tendons and ligaments, what's going on ?

so i'm a runner running long distances at the moment when i woke up one day and whenever i bent my right knee there was a clicking noise whenever i ped a certain point. After a couple of weeks it began to get sore, stif and continue clicking so i went to my GP who compared my knees. She asked me to extend my knee and said i was 2 degrees out? She also said that the tendons and ligaments were inflamed at the back and front of my knee causing the mild pain i got. She said the clicking noise was because a straw like structure in my hamstring was getting caught causing it to click and that everything was probably caused by the impact of running and growing because the bones rotate when you grow. But the clicking was coming from my knee? She told me to rest up 4 2 weeks and do some swimming and cyling. The funny thing is when i ran it didnt hurt. After a week of rest my knee feels worse. It still clicks is stiff, sore and just doent feel strong. I bought a support will that help?

Any suggestions for flea infestation?

I have a major flea infestation in my apt. It started right after my dog was put down (he was on flea preventative) and I've been using multiple treatments for my apt for the last 6 wks. I've fogged 4x, used pesticide spray for fleas, Hartz flea powder for carpet, Pest Control, Borax w/ washings and carpet, Deet sprayed on clothing and Dawn put in shallow dish w/ water w/ light shining on it. I've also washed my clothes/bedding, etc., MULTIPLE times in hot water, dryer and iron. None of this has worked. The fleas are everywhere - oven, shelves, frig, piano, speakers, clothing, car, etc. I've bagged clothing, etc., w/ no relief. I've vacuumed every day (many hours - 10+ sometimes) w/ throwing bag away outside plus putting 1/2 flea collar in bag but I can't seem to get a ahead - even vacing brings more out. Can anyone suggest anything new? I feel like I've tried everything and I don't want to lose my apt. I am also about to go crazy! Please help!

Other than Pregnancy, what other causes are there for late period?

I am 27 years old, so it isn't menopause. I have 4 children and after the last I had a tubal ligation. well, I am not religious, but I think that it is wrong for any religion to suggest, preach or try to convert anyone of any religion or of non-religion. I think that is unethical, but I guess we are not talking ethics, we are talking religion. I have a strong belief that as long as you treat others how you want to be treated it doesn’t matter what religion you are or if you are even religious. Do you walk up to someone and ask them their religion and at that point only decide to be good and nice to them just because they are a good decent human being or do you shun them if they are not your religion? Like race and the color of your skin, I believe religion should be something that won’t change how people look and think about one another. I know here we have the right and freedom of religion but sometimes it doesn’t feel like it.

i go to a nationally top ranked high school and get pretty good grades (especially for being there...). most juniors, when applying for colleges, take the "Math II" SAT II test, along with some other humanities sorts of tests. i excel at english and history, however, i am really horrible at math and therefore am taking the Math I test. is this going to be detrimental to my college applications in any way? are there some colleges that will not accept the Math I test? i'm hoping if i can do well on that test and my other ones they will look past the fact that i am not very good at math....but i'm not sure. what do you think that colleges will think of that?

CD/DVD drive not reading/writing?

Okay so, my cd/dvd drive was working perfectly well until a couple of weeks ago.Now whenever I put a cd/dvd in, it just wont load. The same thing happens with writing, whatever software I use, in the end at some point it gets stuck in "synchronising cache" or something like that. Seasonal allergy to peanuts?

My Aunt's boyfriend says that he is allergic to peanuts and sunflower seeds, but only at certain times of year. Apparently he can eat them during the winter. I have aspiractions to play college football then hopefully one day professional football. Im a sopre starting on varsity at linebacker and I started the first three games of the season and did really well and then a week later I had a bad game. I just figured, well everyone has a bad game at some point. Then during the week after my bad game I stretched my tendons in my ankle and severely sprained it. I was out for two weeks. I came back two weeks later and last night I played a team that was ranked in the state. I made about 8 tackles but I also got driven back at times and pushed around because I had no balance on my ankle so I had to get helped off the field during the fourth quarter. When I come back, I think I might be replaced for the remaining three games, if I even come back at all. Im not sure yet. Do you think that I should still pursue my dream to play college football?

I have two parakeets- one boy and one girl. I got Sam, the boy, this last July or August, and I got Lea, the girl, 5 or 6 weeks ago. When I first introduced them, they seemed to REALLY like each other. For the first couple of weeks, they got along fine. But for the past 2 or 3 weeks, Sam has been very territorial about a lot of things. For example, When iset them on my shoulder, Sam likes to rummage around in my ear. Occasinally, Lea pecks back angrily at Sam. When I try to let Lea eat out of a seperate bowl, or sit on my other shoulder, Sam goes over to Lea, and gets territorial again. I have tried separating them, but they dont like being apart. When I take just one of them with me, or put one of them somewhere else, Sam and Lea start Chirping for each other, and fly over to each other. I don't want to get rid of either of them, but I just don't Know what to do. does it have anything to do with clipping their wings, because I have not clipped either of their wings in quite a while, but Sam's wings are considerably longer than Lea's. Hit a fire hydrant and broke it, now what?

Here's the story. I backed into a fire hydrant in my townhouse (condo) parking lot. It broke right off but no water spraying out. I called police, they called fire fighters and they called city workers. The city said it is on private property so they cant fix it but it would probably only be about $1000 to fix, and told me to call the condo corp. I called them, told them the story now they are telling me it is going to cost $10,000 to fix! The condo wants me to pay these damages, but I don't believe it should cost that much and they wont get a second opinion. They have these guys coming tomorrow to fix the hydrant. I cannot put it through insurance because I was driving my company vehicle and my boss said if I have another accident or make any claims the insurance company would drop me, and I would end up losing my job. Great News!!! Most vet clinics will trim your cats nails for you, and they should be able to do a pretty good job. THEN, they can or you can apply Soft Paws which are soft plastic covers that you basically super glue over their actual nails. They last about 6 weeks and work great. They should have them available at pet stores, and our vet clinic carries/applies them for you. And, scratching is a natural instinct, as far as the carpet goes. You need to find another vet. There's something making you cat sick. Could be virus or bacterial, maybe parasite. I do believe you need a second opinion. A healthy cat would eat and drink. Vomiting could be several reasons, fur or eating something it shouldnt or even the brand of food. My cat throws up bc of feline leuakemia. Best advice is to get a second opinion, hope your baby gets better.

I am using an Airtel USB modem for the last six months or so. It worked fine for first three months, but then onwards, a lot of trouble has started. It often does not connect (even when the signal is strong enough) and even if it does, disconnects quickly (within 3 to 4 minutes. Then the software crashes, and the only way to re-activate it is to re-insert the modem). The services are atrocious. The call center washed their hands off saying that I should take it to an "airtel center where they can service it". After complaining to higher authorities, I did get calls from service personnel, but they never followed up and right now, it remains unusable for last one week straight.

He calls me these names, just to name a few: cu*t bag, cu*t, c*ntly, dumb bi*ch, jacoffasaurus (character from south park???) says i come from a loser family, and a few more. he rarely apologizes for these things. sometimes he waits until hours after and then instead of apologizing he will try to ask me for . and not in a sweet way either... so i refuse. i dont care how it makes him feel. he said those things to me without a care in the world, right? well, his mom came to visit and i was telling her that i was thinking of leaving. we just are not compatible. he has torn down my last shread of confidence and i cant take it... i have visions of killing him.. is that normal? i know i would not, but i would really like to hurt him sometimes. i told her all the names and some stories and situations and she basically told me That is how all men are... They are jerks.. You just have to learn to not get emotional anymore...It might take you a while but you will develope a thick skin and those things will just roll right off of you. And then when you start to ignor them they will realize how much of an they are being She also told me that she has been with a man for about 10 years who has called her names that are similar, but she just deals with it the way she instructed me to. He pays her mortgage, if that makes any difference. My bf was subject to this for 10 years of his life. He grew up without a dad too. Is it possible that because his mom has such a pive attitude about being verbally abused maybe he does too. Obviously he was subject to this and it does not seem to me that she taught him to treat women with the respect they deserve because she was not treated with respect herself. I know that I am not a perfect person by any means. I argue with him and say nasty things to him. But I apologize. And even worse I even find myself apologizing to him for things that he has said and done to me. He says I bring it on myself. He has even said Say that you are a dumb bit*ch! That is the only way I will accept your apology and sadly enough I have degraded myself just to make him happy. I am just so tired of trying to find ways to work it out. Options for a dog that screams at other dogs?

I have a 4 y.o male, neutered Boston Terrier. He is not dog aggressive (we take him to the dog park and he's fine) but he is highly dog reactive when on leash. Whenever he sees another dog he either freezes or tries to take my arm off trying to get to the other dog. I could deal with that because he's only 28lbs but he does this horrible, high pitched scream when he sees another dog. It's sooo loud and it sounds like I'm kicking him in the ribs or sticking him with a hot poker. It's frighting and of course every one thinks he's mean and won't let their dogs anywhere near him. Anyway, too make a long story short we just moved into town and into a fairly populated neighborhood and this behavior is not acceptable (not that it ever was but at least he didn't run into a dog very often before). We've tried training cles and personal training once before and we are currently doing it again but we have not gotten any success with the screaming issue now or in the past. I DO NOT like prong or choke collars but it's gotten to the point that I'm considering a prong collar to give him corrections when he does this because nothing else has worked. I also looked up information about debarking a dog and of course just like the prong collars some people swear by it and others want to string you up and burn you at the stake for even considering it. Something has to change though before we get run out of our neighborhood. I just want some opinions. Has anyone used prong collars or debarked their dog? Have you used any other solutions that have worked on controlling a very reactive dog? I hate the idea of even considering a prong but all of his positive reinforcement training hasn't done a damn thing for this particular issue.

What matters to you more when picking a book to read, writing style or the story?

When I saw this question on the list, I clicked it with the intent of using the two above books as examples!! Personally, I like and have read both books. I LOVE Harry Potter, and it is my favorite of the two. It has both better story and style. But, while I hate poor writing, I still love the Twilight series because of the story. Had it lacked an intriguing plot, I would never have read past the first chapter or so. With such a busy life, I'm quick to drop something that is boring and has poor writing. But, the story is what kept me going. Sadly, if I were to pick up a book that was well-written but lacked an intriguing plot, I would likely not finish it. Unfortunately for good writers (and it kills me to say this as I am author myself), I feel that you can make a career off of solely good plot, while you cannot off of solely good writing. Of course, to be a clic author, remembered throughout time, you ideally need both a brilliant plot idea, and the writing skills to support it.

I read this about a year ago and strongly recommend it to young adult readers.

my question is why/how was this fight even made? how was this a good fight for Moorer? Moorer had just won the championship (WBA & IBF) from Holyfield and didn't look good doing it, i scored it a draw on my card, and he chooses a 45 year old George Foreman for his first title defense? Foreman's prior bout was a loss to Tommy Morrison. even if Moorer had won the fight, who would really care? he would have beaten up an old man, which is what he was doing until the 10th round. why didn't he go after Lennox Lewis (WBC champ) for a unification bout? in all these years i still don't see why Moorer and Teddy Atlas gave George a shot at the title, he had little to gain and everyhing to lose.
